Dead Space Extraction was actually really good.
Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but school comes before video games. Although I haven't gotten around to playing anymore Kingdom Hearts because it's such a time commitment. I was able to play Dead Space Extraction. I got it free with the Collector's edition of Dead Space 2 and for a free game it was very good.
Extraction is the prequel to Dead Space and was originally on the Wii. But, they remade it in HD for the PS3 to incorporate the Move. Even though I don't have a Move I was able to play it with just the Dualshock controller.
The game has a story mode and a challenge mode. It probably took me 4-6 hours to play the 10 chapters in story mode (which seemed like the perfect pace for this game). The story was pretty good and had allot of surprises.
Even though the ending kind of confused me I still recommend this game to anyone who as a Move or is a fan of the Dead Space franchise.

Halloween Town
So, I caught up on the Olympic Challenges and now I just got to Halloween Town. The first thing I noticed when I got here was the level looked depressing. No colors besides the shades of gray (reminded me of a modern fps level *rimsot*) which I understand because that's how parts of the movie looked. I guess I was used to the previously vibrant levels, but I digress.
I haven't gotten very far yet, but what I've seen game play wise I liked.
Leave a comment bellow if you think I should prepare myself for a letdown later in the level or why you enjoyed the level.

I thought Deep Jungle was bad, but Atlantica takes the Cake

Genie Jafar: A Pittiful Excuse for a Boss
After beating Deep Jungle, thank god that nightmares over, I headed over to Agrabah. Aladdin was one of my favorite Disney movies as a kid and I was really excited to see what kind of level this was going to be.
I was pretty happy with the level at first, but then I entered the desert. The fight with the Tiger Head that leads into the Cave of Wonders had potential, but it was far too easy. Once entering the cave I kinda just dodge rolled from room to room until I got into the treasure room. Now it was time to fight Jafar.
The first part of the battle consisted of Jafar floating around a room practically doing nothing. The only thing you have to watch out for during this fight is Genie and he warns you every time before he attacks. Once the first part ends he transforms into Genie Jafar.
But, in the second part of the fight you don't fight Genie Jafar... you fight his lamp. Never in a game have I ever been so let down.
Jumping platform to platform until getting close enough to the lamp to lock in and spam X, rinse and repeat.
Off to Monstro :\

CERBERUS FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-
*sigh*
I just remembered another reason why I quit KH long long ago... Cerberus.
This boss is fairly early on in the game, but none the less still a very hard one.
The fight consists of Sora (you) jumping, spamming the X button and occasional hiding behind the beast while he spews fireballs. After 10 or so attempts at fight him I finally decided to Google how to beat him.
Apparently you just have to lock-on to one of the outer heads then attack and dodge, attack and dodge, attack and dodge etc.
Took a pretty long time to finish. Donald and Goofy both died a lot.
Now, I'm back where it all went to hell, Deep Jungle.

Kingdom Hearts
So, I started playing Kingdom Hearts today. I tried playing it a long time ago, but the clunky controls and the Deep Jungle (Tarzan level) made me transition back to Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal's multiplayer.
With Birth by Sleep out on the PSP, and me needing a portable game to play in between classes, I decided to try a Kingdom Hearts series again.
Birth by Sleep was a great game and since it is supposed to be the prequel to the first Kingdom Hearts, I thought I should give it another go.
So far, I have played an hour and a half and I'm about to get off Destiny Island. I almost rage quit when I couldn't jump up a ledge during the race with Riku, but was finally able to make it.
Because of that incident I decided to take a break for the day. Stay tuned for more aggravation!
